HISTORY:

Martin Zeitlin built his first home over six decades ago at age 17. Martin Zeitlin was the first in Nashville to offer central air conditioning as a standard feature in 1954, Cottonwood the first PUD (planned unit development) ever in Middle was developed by Martin Zeitlin starting in the early 70's. Today it is still one of the most desired communities in Williamson County.

 

Martin Zeitlin was one of the pioneers in the Building Industry in Nashville and developed and built in Middle Tennessee for over 50 years.

 

Today, brothers Jeff and Bruce Zeitlin honor their father’s legacy by continuing to build in the tradition and excellence of their father Martin and under the umbrella of the Martin Construction Company Name.

Jeff Zeitlin was Middle Tennessee first Certified Graduate Builder from the National Home Builders Association. Jeff is both a past president of the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee and 1993 recipient of Builder of the year.

 

Martin Construction has been in the forefront of technology since the 1950's. Martin Zeitlin was the first in Middle Tennessee to offer central air conditioning as a standard feature. Martin Construction starting building "green" before the word was invented. It has continually been a pioneer and leader in the building industry.

 

In  the mist of the 1980's  energy crises, as Owens Corning and Dow started testing new energy efficient technologies, they called on Martin Construction Company to assist in developing these new technologies. The first integrated home computer system in Nashville was a Martin Construction home. Today, we continue to use  the latest technology in the homes we build.

 

In addition to using cutting-edge technology in the homes we build, we were the first in Middle Tennessee to have computer- generated accounting and construction management software. We are currently integrating the latest in construction management and customer service with Builder Trend's Construction M.anagement cloud based software. The features, including daily logs, integrated customer selections, change order management, document and photo management, and warranty service, will provide our customers with new tools to impove the building experience.
